Enjoy your meal. Service ok. The Sunday dinner band was rather disturbing for me. Too loud and jazz or evergreens are not for everyone.

Super restaurant with delicious and good plain food. Price - performance is great and the service is absolutely personable and courteous. The restaurant impresses above all with its beautiful outdoor terrace with a view of the countryside. When the weather is good, it's the best address in the south of Bochum.

Very good food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, it came about that some items of the order were not brought. The service could be a bit friendlier.

The monastery courtyard is located in Bochum-Stiepel directly on the Cistercian monastery, as the name suggests. For the Christmas time the restaurant was pretty empty for a Friday night. Since we are one 8-member group, we sat alone in the hall. In the hall only our table was set. The windows were nicely decorated, otherwise the room seemed a bit cold. Some of our group were already rather there and had already ordered drinks and the menu. We had to wait a while before the waiter came to pick up our order. We did not get a menu, instead we had to wait until the others of our group had selected their food. The wait until the food was brought was ok, as were the prices, which are ok. There is a season ticket, here are the prices even something upscale: z. Steaks from € 30. The food was okay. A dumpling was served with the goose leg, but you could order dumplings on request. The red cabbage and the sauce tasted good, the goose leg was also ok. As several of us had ordered goose, the red cabbage was served extra. There were no desserts on the menu, only two on the season pass. The demand, if there would be other desserts z. For example, ice cream with hot cherries was denied at first, then some ice creams were listed. Afterwards a dessert menu was brought. I chose pancakes with vanilla ice cream, cream and hot cherries. The pancakes did not taste good, the scoop of vanilla ice cream was also not great, the hot cherries were sour and cream was just a blob. When paying the dessert was at once 0.50 € more expensive than indicated in the card. On our complaint the waiter said, the prices would make the boss and in the cash register the price would be entered. No good organization and no good customer service. This was my first and last visit to the Klosterhof. I would not recommend the Klosterhof to my friends.

Polite, friendly and helpful service, good typical meals, clean,a nice terrace with an overview of the hilly Stiepel and close to the monastery.
